What do we do with your information?
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

We use your name, address & telephone number to deliver packages you have ordered from us to your home or provided address
Reason: We’ve got to do this to uphold our contract with you. You have purchased something from us and we must deliver it to you!
We send tracking information to your mobile number and email address if you have provided us with this information.
Reason: We want to keep you updated on your parcel so you know what’s going on! If you need to track your parcel, then you will need a reference number and this will be provided by us to your phone or/and email address.
Sending your marketing emails
Reason: We only do this if you have verified that you want to receive emails from us at the checkout page or by signing up to our newsletter. If you decide that you do not want to receive these emails from us anymore then no problem, just click “unsubscribe from email” found at the bottom of all marketing emails we send you.
Reason: To let you know about all the latest offers we now have in store and online. This can be opted out at any time by texting “PACO STOP” to the number 51444
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
Your Payment Details
We ask for your credit card, visa, MasterCard, debit card or PayPal information at checkout online
Reason: We need to do this so that you can pay for the product your want to purchase.
How is this information stored?
It isn’t. All that we can see is that you have paid with a verified card and that the payment is not fraudulent. We do not have any access to your credit card or payment information.
How do we know your payment is not fraudulent & how we protect your details from fraud.
We use a high security system that will recognize your cards registered address with the address you have provided. Our system also recognizes the IP address you are using. If we feel that an order has been made under your name but it is fraudulent then we will contact you to verify that you did actually make a purchase on our website. Your safety is our priority.
Your Location Information
How we use your information about your location.
We can only see your location from where you are visiting our site from if your laptop, mobile or tablet is turned on to share device location. We do not need to know your location for you to browse our site however if you choose to do so it helps us with improving our customers user experience on our store.
Reason: When we can see where the majority of our customers are shopping from then we can focus on improving your shopping experience in these locations.
What happens to your information when you enter competitions or respond to promotions and offers.
We run competitions, offers and promotions to give our customers the best shopping experience or to reward them for being a loyal follower of our brand.
Reason: We do this so you can keep up to date with all of the best deals you can get as well as getting the opportunity of winning some amazing prizes every so often!
Sharing your information:
We do not and will not ever share your information with any third party company. Your name, email address, personal address and telephone number are all safe with us and we will never sell your information to any third party company for profit.
The only people we need to share your information with is:
- DPD they are our courier for our parcels. They will be responsible for making sure your parcel gets to you on time. However, to deliver your parcels they will need your name, telephone number and address.
- MailChimp holds your name and email address so that we can send you promotional offers and updates on our company. They will never send you information about their own services and do not have any rights to share your information with any other third party services. Their contract is with us and us only. You can opt in and opt out of receiving these emails at any stage.
- If we are worried that something is fraudulent about your order then we will try contact you to confirm that everything is ok. If we cannot get through to you and we are still worried then we may have to take further action by contacting law enforcements or a banking provider to confirm that your internet safety is A-OK!
Creating Accounts With Us & Your Security Doing so:
You can create a PACO online account with us at any stage but you also have the right to close this account at any stage.
What your account does:
- It keeps a record of your past + current purchases made online
- It holds your name, address, telephone number & email address for a smoother checkout process
- It can be closed at any stage by your or by us at your request only.
- You do not need an account to shop online with us.
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL) and stored with a AES-256 encryption. Although no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCI-DSS requirements and implement additional generally accepted industry standards.

We advertise on Google and on social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram.
If you see adverts from us on the internet, then please note these adverts while organized by us are not set to pinpoint you specifically. Adverts from us may appear because you match up with our target market or your browsing history matches up with criteria that makes you a candidate to see our advert.
For Example: We may ask to target people who live in Ireland who like colourful sweaters – and you just so happen to have been looking for that exact thing! Well that’s how you end up seeing our advert!
This means you may have liked something by us before, you have purchased something from our website, you are interested in items that we may be able to offer you or you have been looking at purchasing something that we may have!
This information is stored on your search engine called “cookies” and these can be cleared at any time through your browsing history, while it is connected with searches you may have made about us, it is not information stored by us.
Keeping your information:
Your information will be kept by us as long as you have an account with us or have made a purchase with us in the past. We hold onto this information for as long as it is necessary to provide support related information, specifically customer care.
If you want us to delete any information we may have then you are of course entitled to ask us to do so however please note that if we do not have any information on your recent or previous purchases then we may not be able to help you with any future customer care.

- It is your right to know how your information is being used that’s why you can contact us at any time to ask us anything about the information we use for you.
- You can ask us to amend any personal information we have on you at any stage.
- The right to ask us to delete your account information. Again please note while we have no problem doing this if we cannot look up your previous or current purchases we may not be able to help you with any customer service you need about your orders.
- The right to opt out of all of our marketing campaigns at any stage. This option is found at the bottom of all of our marketing emails to you.
